Sherman Easter Egg Hunt to Benefit Local Food Pantry
SHERMAN, CT — The Town of Sherman’s annual Easter Egg Hunt is set for Saturday, March 31 at the Sherman Town Park. The egg hunt is free, however, donations will be accepted to benefit Hungerford Place, Sherman ‘s food pantry. A representative will be on hand to accept monetary donations and/or grocery store gift cards.
Children are invited to stop by the jelly bean guessing game first, then find the area for their age group and wait for the signal to start. There is a limit one dozen eggs per child. The event is open to kids in grades preschool through grade 5 and kids should bring their own baskets.
